This Place Is Lousy ..

Fiesta Gal

With Louisiana Irises ... the Head Gardener long ago gave up trying to rein in my LI addiction.   We wish we could tell you the names of all the cultivars pictured but both of us long ago gave up trying to keep track.  The HG makes a half-hearted effort now and then to make me compile an inventory but it's fairly easy to distract her with a report of snails munching on the Manfredas.   Such intangibles as inventories are forgotten in the process of molluskicide!

All beautiful, but I especially like the delicate colors of that first one.

Ah, iris time--so beautiful! All of my irises are passalongs, so I have no idea what any of their names are. I could get addicted to these beauties, too:)
Inventories and lists are such dreary things to keep up with when one could be out actually enjoying the blooms, right? I always have good intentions....

I also have an addiction to Louisiana iris. I can hardly pass up the purchase of a new variety. I have not been good at keeping up with the names. Only a few do I remember, but I enjoy the flowers just the same. I especially liked the last photo of the very dark purple flower. Truly Beautiful!
