To those who would tell me *"It's not the heat, it's the humidity" , come on down here to my corner of Katy and let's spend a couple of hours outside, pulling weeds and spreading mulch. You will doubtless understand why I disagree most vehemently with that statement. IT'S BOTH and no one can convince me otherwise. I am unanimous in this.

Having lived in the Houston area like you, Cindy, I've got your back on this one!
Hear, hear!
Yup.
You are correct, Cindy. In my home state-South Mississippi, that's what we would tell out-of-towners aka yankees, just to see if they would believe it! LOL! Mean, I know but hey it's 100 deg. and 100% humidity. Hang in there, it won't be long now! Carol
I concur and both are miserable.
Brilliantly said Mrs Slocombe! Jolly good!
You're not going to find any argument here. It IS the heat and the humidity. It's awful out there.~~Dee
I definitely agree, Cindy, though I've discovered while visiting my daughter in Arizona that heat without humidity is not nearly as bad! Good old Mrs. Slocombe...the humidity must have been murder on her hair:)
If it doesn't break soon, I'm running away. I'm unanimous on that too!
