The Aliens Have Landed!

Evidently I signed up for a free 3 month trial of ORGANIC GARDENING magazine ... that's the only reason I can think of that I suddenly started receiving it. As it turns out, I'm kinda psyched that I did. In the February/March 2010 issue, an article by Willi Evans Galloway (page 78) details how to grow microgreens indoors. Since I had a packet of Baby Leaf Lettuce, Heirloom Cutting Mix, from Renee's Seeds, I decided to give it a try. Hot damn, they're sprouting! Aren't they weird and wonderful? I have no idea how I'll use them but I trust some of my foodie pals will help me figure it out.

Gail, this is the first issue I've gotten so I'm not sure yet if I can recommend it. I've always felt like they were more geared to veggie gardeners and those who live in the Midwest, North, Northeast. They've reformatted and it's flashier than I ever thought OG would be! Check it out at B&N and let me know what you think.
I'd love to run my fingers over them.
