As the Head Gardener and I strolled along behind the daylily bed, we caught movement out of the corner of our eye.

Someone had chosen an appropriately named daylily* to bask in the warmth of the sun.

* Yes, believe it or not, we actually do know the name of this one!

Not sure why, but we have more little lizards this year than normal. I really kind of enjoy them. They are just so cute!

MT, I love seeing the anoles in the garden. I don't think I have any more than usual, though.

NShade: I was surprised he let me get so close to him for the picture. A moment later, he was off to another spot!
